从事微纳尺度传热、医疗器械设计与制造、计算机辅助机械设计等方向的研究工作。

2018国家自然科学奖二等奖(排2),2015年获教育部自然科学奖一等奖(排2),2008年获得江苏省科技进步奖一等奖(排4)。

在Nature Nanotechnology、 Nature Communications、Physical Review Letters、Physical Review B、Nano Letters国际知名期刊发表SCI论文100余篇。
