主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家863计划项目、国家科技重大专项课题、国家科技支撑计划课题和省部级项目等30余项。在Transactions of ASME 、中国科学等国内外期刊发表SCI收录论文100余篇,连续入选Elsevier 中国高被引学者名单;大会特邀学术报告20余次。
