嘉宾介绍
夏敏博士现任英国兰卡斯特大学工学院副教授。于2009年获东南大学学士学位,2012年获中国科学技术大学硕士学位,2017年获加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学博士学位。研究方向包括复杂机电系统智能健康监测,人工智能与深度学习,先进制造系统数字孪生等领域。主持多项欧盟、英国和加拿大科研项目,包括欧盟地平线计划,英国创新基金,加拿大Mitacs产学研项目十余项,总经费1000多万英镑。已发表SCI期刊论文50余篇,其中2篇ESI热点论文,4篇ESI高被引论文。目前担任多个国际期刊的编委和客座编委,包括IEEETransactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Transactions onIndustrial Informatics,Reliability Engineering and System Safety。担任IEEE ICCSE2021大会主席,IEEE CASE 2019组织主席等。
讲座内容
With the rise of Industry 4.0, industrialmachines and manufacturing processes are being widely connected and monitoredwhich produces a large amount of sensory data. Data-driven approaches haveshown huge potential in achieving precise and intelligent condition monitoringand optimization of industrial machines and processes. Deep learning, asubcategory of machine learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), hasachieved remarkable success in various areas in the recent decade. However,critical challenges still exist in developing effective and reliable AIsolutions in practical industrial settings, e.g. lack of data, varying workingconditions, sensor failure and strong sensing noise, etc. This seminar willintroduce the recent methodological advances of deep learning-based approachesin solving these problems for smart and sustainable manufacturing. Also, thelatest physics-informed machine learning and its applications will be presentedwhich has huge potential in solving a wide range of engineering problems.
